1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Doxuno platform at doxuno.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
By completing a purchase, you additionally confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, including the non-refundable nature of digital purchases described in Section 3.
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service or make a purchase. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Description of Service
Doxuno provides a library of editable legal and professional document templates. Users can fill in form fields to personalise a template and generate a downloadable PDF document. Some templates include an "Expert Plan" that unlocks additional sections, clauses, and features for a one-time fee.
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Purchases, Payments & Refund Policy
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Doxuno does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details. By completing a payment, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. Your bank may apply currency conversion fees; Doxuno is not responsible for these charges.
Non-Refundable Digital Purchases
This policy applies to all purchase types, including but not limited to:
- Expert Plan one-time purchases (per document)
- Premium subscription fees (if applicable)
- Any future paid features or add-ons
Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases of documented technical failure preventing access to purchased content. To request an exception, contact support@doxuno.com within 14 days of purchase.
Failed or Disputed Payments
If a payment fails, no access is granted. If you initiate a chargeback with your bank without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account. We encourage you to reach out to us first — most issues can be resolved quickly.
4. Digital Goods & Instant Delivery
Doxuno sells digital content only. There are no physical goods, no shipping, and no physical delivery of any kind. Upon successful payment:
- Expert Plan features are unlocked immediately within your browser session on the purchased document.
- You may generate and download a PDF of the completed document.
- No account creation is required to use the Service or make a purchase.
This acknowledgement is captured via the consent checkbox presented before every purchase.
5. Expert Plan — One-Time Purchase
The Expert Plan is a per-document, one-time purchase. Each Expert Plan purchase unlocks the advanced sections of a single document template for one browser session. Specifically:
- The Expert Plan is not a subscription and does not recur.
- Expert Plan access is tied to your browser session. If you close or refresh the page, previously unlocked content may require re-purchase. We recommend downloading your document immediately after unlocking.
- The Expert Plan does not grant access to Expert features on other document templates. Each template requires a separate purchase.
- Expert Plan pricing is displayed clearly before purchase. The current price is $1.99 USD per document, though prices may vary by template and are subject to change.
6. Not Legal Advice
Document templates are general-purpose and may not reflect the most current laws in your jurisdiction, or be suitable for your specific circumstances. Laws vary significantly by country, state, and local area.
We strongly recommend that you:
- Review any document with a qualified attorney or legal professional before signing or relying on it.
- Verify that the template is appropriate and legally valid in your specific jurisdiction.
- Adapt the document as necessary to comply with local law and your specific situation.
Doxuno is not responsible for any legal, financial, or other consequences arising from the use or misuse of documents generated through the Service.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to create fraudulent, deceptive, or forged documents.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim any affiliation.
- Reproduce, resell, or commercially distribute Doxuno templates or generated documents without prior written permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the template library programmatically.
- Use the Service in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the platform or interfere with other users.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to any user who violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property
All templates, designs, text, graphics, and other content on Doxuno are the intellectual property of Doxuno or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
When you purchase or download a document, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the generated PDF for your personal or internal business purposes only. This licence does not permit:
- Redistribution or resale of the template or generated document as a template product.
- Sublicensing or transferring the licence to third parties.
- Modification of the template for the purpose of creating a competing product.
Documents you complete using the Service and download as PDFs (containing your personal data) are yours. Doxuno does not claim ownership over the content you enter into the form fields.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Doxuno and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
- Damages arising from reliance on documents generated through the Service.
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in template content.
- Interruption or unavailability of the Service.
In any case, our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Doxuno in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
10. International Users & Jurisdiction-Specific Rights
Doxuno serves users globally. We are committed to respecting the consumer protection laws applicable in your country. Below is a summary of how these Terms interact with key regional frameworks:
Non-Waivable Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country that cannot legally be excluded by contract. If any provision of these Terms conflicts with such mandatory laws, the mandatory law prevails to the extent of the conflict.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. For users in the European Union or United Kingdom, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply and take precedence.
Informal Resolution First
Before initiating any formal dispute, we ask that you contact us at support@doxuno.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally. Most concerns can be resolved within a few business days.
EU Online Dispute Resolution
If you are a consumer in the European Union and we cannot resolve your complaint informally, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Binding Arbitration (US Users)
For users in the United States, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify. By using the Service, you waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes that affect your rights, we will provide notice via the Service or by email where possible.
Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
